Welcome to my Spanish site, where you can find out what's going on in class. The EXTRAS page attached to this site will include learning resources and any links that we use during class.  Feel free to explore and learn on your own.

Kindergarten-  You will be learning basic vocabulary for colors, numbers, holidays, animals, greetings, and the sign of the cross throughout the year!

1st Grade- You will be reviewing previously learned vocabulary as well as learning new vocabulary for fruits and vegetables, the alphabet, weather, classroom words, and the Glory Be prayer this year.

2nd Grade- You will be reviewing previously learned vocabulary as well as learning new vocabulary for numbers 50-100, body parts, calendar words, family members, clothing, and basic prayers.

3rd Grade-  You will be reviewing previously learned vocabulary as well as new vocabulary for numbers through 1,000, shapes, house words, and the Hail Mary prayer.  You will also be learning about definite articles and singular/plural concepts.

4th Grade-  You will begin to have short conversations using previously learned vocabulary as well as learning to ask and answer questions, to use subject pronouns, to tell someone's age, to talk about likes and dislikes, and will be reciting basic prayers weekly.

5th Grade-  You will be talking about wants and needs, using subject pronouns, articles, and adjectives correctly, and reciting basic prayers weekly.

6th Grade-  You will be talking and writing about class schedules, numbers to 1 million, telling time, the possessive "de", the verb "ser", describing people and things with adjectives, and reciting basic prayers.

7th & 8th Grade-  You will be using previously learned vocabulary and grammar concepts to write and speak about a variety of different topics as well as learning new verbs and refining your grammar usage.
